Dave Mason
D.Ph., Owner
A native of Stuttgart, Arkansas, Dave attended Oklahoma State University in Stillwater before moving on to the University of Oklahoma Health Science Center’s School of Pharmacy. After graduating in 1986, he worked for Hospital Discount Pharmacy in Edmond, where he cultivated an interest in compounding and problem-solving. Dave has completed specialized training in bio-identical hormone replacement therapy, clinical nutrition, and various forms of pharmaceutical compounding. In August of 1998, he opened Innovative Pharmacy Solutions, in order to focus on these specialties. Outside of health and nutrition, Dave’s primary forms of relaxation include mowing and maintaining his two-plus acre yard and taking naps in movie theaters. He lives in Edmond with his wife, Kristen, also a pharmacist and a member of the OUHSC School of Pharmacy faculty. They are active in their church and enjoy spending time family and friends. Dave and Kristen are the proud parents of two daughters and two sons.
Kyle Panter
Pharm D.
Raised in Fort Gibson, OK, Kyle attended Northeastern State University and received a B.S.in Chemistry in 1996 and then graduated from the University of Oklahoma College of Pharmacy in 2000. In the Spring of 2017, he became certified as a Veterinary Specialist through the Comprehensive Core Concepts in Compounding program by Professional Compounding Centers of America (PCCA). Kyle joined IPS in the summer of 2019 bringing his extensive knowledge of compounding pharmacy with the focus on Veterinary care, wound care, bio-identical hormone replacement therapy and so much more! His career experiences include working in independent retail, chain retail, hospital and compounding pharmacy practices. He has also served as a consultant to chemical wholesalers and pharmacies across the country for compounding-related issues. Kyle has been married to his beautiful wife, Michele, for 26 years. Michele and Kyle have two children, whom they adopted, as well as a rescue Shih Tzu/Terrier named Lilly, which helps keep them young and on the go! In his spare time, he enjoys playing golf, reading, and spending time with family.
Jennifer Spann
D. Ph.
Born and raised in Bastrop, LA, Jennifer has lived in Edmond, OK since 2010. She graduated from the University of Louisiana/Monroe in 1996, then moved with her husband to North Carolina where she practiced pharmacy for two years before returning to Baton Rouge, LA where she lived for 12 years and had two amazing kids, Karli and Jack. Jennifer joined the Innovative Pharmacy team in the summer of 2021. She enjoys gardening, watching sports, being outside, hanging out with her friends and playing with her feisty little dog, Cooper.
Christie Cowden
Office/HR Manager
Originally from Perkins, Oklahoma, Christie has lived in the Guthrie area for over 20 years and has worked as a pharmacy technician since 2006. She joined the IPS team in the spring of 2016. She loves working with patients and meeting new people, and in her spare time, she enjoys reading, crafts, and knitting, and can name all 50 states in alphabetical order. Christie has been married to her husband, Matt, for 26 years, and they are the parents of one daughter, one son, and three dogs: Barney, Finney and Daisy.
Laurie Budig
Pharmacy Technician
Originally from Billings, Montana, Laurie already had over two decades of pharmacy experience under her belt when she joined the staff of IPS in the fall of 2016. In addition, Laurie is certified as an Administrative Medical Assistant and also in Fitness and Nutrition as a Personal Trainer. Her hobbies include weight training, interior decorating, and floral arranging. She and her husband, Robert, are the proud parents of two grown sons. Laurie and Robert’s family is still growing with the addition of a daughter-in-law, beautiful granddaughter, and grandson.
Kaden Gravatt
Pharmacy Technician
Born in Enid, OK, Kaden moved to Stillwater, OK, when he was 12 years old. He graduated with a degree in Biology from Oklahoma State University and is working towards going to medical school. He joined the Innovative Pharmacy team in June of 2021. Kaden’s hobbies include working out and learning to play golf. He loves spending time with family and being an uncle to his one-year-old nephew. Kaden has recently welcomed into his home an American Bulldog puppy named Chaplain. In his free time you will find Kaden working out, learning to play golf or playing with “Chap”.
Patsy Stepp
Cashier / Clerk
Patsy was born and raised in beautiful Alpine, TX, but has lived in Edmond, OK the past 25 years. She has worked in the healthcare industry for over 30 years. Patsy enjoys helping people find alternative and lasting solutions. Patsy has been married to her husband Steve for 25 years. They have three amazing children Trevor, Brandie and John. She is an active member of LifeChurch. In her spare time she can be found watching OU football in the fall and OKC Thunder games in the winter. She also enjoys playing dominoes, puzzles, growing small plants and loves spending time with her wonderful grandchildren Mila, Aubrey, Kylie and Wyatt. Favorite verse: Ephesians 4:32, “Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God has forgiven you.”
Albany Adair
Cashier / Clerk
Albany was born and raised in Fort Gibson, OK and then moved to Edmond, OK to attend the University of Central Oklahoma. She is currently studying for a nursing degree as well as a member on the UCO soccer team. She loves hiking and being very involved with her church. Albany has two dogs, Ester and Violet, and one horse named Jimmy. She joined the Innovative Pharmacy team in the fall of 2022 and plans to work with us while she finishes college.
